This talk will be presented by Ian D Harrison (Department of Management) and Nirmal Singh Lotay (former Birkbeck student, PG Dipl in Management 1998).
The aim of the talk is to demystify what is meant by ‘management’. It will examine the importance of management in organisations and the key role that managers play in the process. It will then go on to consider how studying management at Birkbeck can boost your career opportunities via an increased understanding of management tools and concepts.
